    • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 23 cups shredded cooked chicken

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven:
    • Preheat the oven to 375°F and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Creamy Mixture:
    • In a medium saucepan, combine the softened cream cheese, cream of chicken soup, and Italian dressing mix. Heat over medium heat, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  3. Prepare the Chicken Filling:
    • Reserve about 1/3 cup of the creamy mixture in the saucepan for gravy. In a large mixing bowl, combine the remaining creamy mixture with the shredded chicken and green onions (if using).
  4. Assemble the Crescent Rolls:
    • Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Place a spoonful of the chicken filling onto the wide end of each triangle. Fold the sides inward, then roll toward the narrow point to seal the filling inside.
  5. Bake the Rolls:
    • Place the assembled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 9–12 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
  6. Serve with Gravy:
    • Heat the reserved creamy mixture over low heat. Drizzle the gravy over the rolls or serve it on the side for dipping.
