  • 1 lb flank steak (or sirloin), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or brown sugar)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the steak cubes to the marinade and coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 2 hours).
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated steak onto skewers.
  5. Grill skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest briefly before serving. Garnish with chopped green onions.
