Description

Soft, chewy, and sugar-coated, 6-ingredient peanut butter kiss cookies are the perfect dessert for holidays or any day. Easy to bake and packed with flavor!


Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for rolling)
  • 34 Hershey’s Kisses (milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or other variety)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and peanut butter until smooth.
  • Add brown sugar and beat until fluffy, about 2 minutes.
  • Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, scraping down the sides of the bowl.
  • Sift the flour and baking soda together, then gradually add them to the wet mixture. Mix just until combined.
  • Scoop 1-tablespoon portions of dough, roll into balls, and coat in granulated sugar. Place on the baking sheets, spaced 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 11 minutes, until the edges are set and golden brown.
  • Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into the center of each cookie after removing from the oven.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
